AC blower motor - Stuck on Removal *See Image*
By blower motor is intermittently not starting. I have to tap on it to make it work sometimes I want to try to clean it, then replace it if necessary. But I'm stuck on removing it from behind the glove box.
There is a strip of plastic covered by a strip of metal that runs along under the space for the glove box. I removed the metal, but I still I can't get the blower out. **See image below**
Who has done this? How do you get the thing out? Thanks!

I replaced the AC evaporator a while ago and ended up breaking that plastic span off to get the evaportor box out from the dash.
No you don't have to break off anything. If you look at your picture towards the lower right corner, you will see a nut on the corner of your dash. What you have to do is loosen up the corner of the dash and pull it out so the fan will come out. You already have the kick panel off, you will have to take the sill plate off (has 'pop' clips, pull up on it)and then pull the trim welt that goes around the door opening off til you clear the dash.

However I ddn't try to get the blower motor out but I will have to eventially as the blower motor is making alot of noise lately.
