Maxima stalling in D at stop, choking when accelerated, ALL 3 O2 CODES
well as the title says. I'm going to try and be as descriptive as possible, and I would appreciate any suggestions you guys may have. Thanks
The problem is at its worst when the car is warm.
With the car warm, start it up and throw it in reverse and the car's rpms begin ranging from 1100 to 500 and then stalls almost immediately, I have to kick my accelerator a little bit to keep it from dying. Once in drive and the car is warmed up if i hit the accelerator and the rpms extend up to 2500 or so you will almost always hear the car choke slightly or hesitate to want to speed up.
Every time I pull up to a stop light , while in drive, the rpms wildly fluctuate between 800 and 400 and 90% of the time it dies, but I can simply throw it in neutral and it starts back up. While stopped at the stop light the rpm fluctuation goes away when i shift the car in neutral.
I have Cleaned the big hitters (IACV, TB ETC) on this forum that are always suggested to do when some of these similar problems exist.
I have 4 codes displaying and its the EGR HI/LO Flow... which honestly I have had for years. I got that code when I swapped to a MEVI and have never been able to turn it off.
The three other codes are the basically all three of the o2 codes you can get. 0303, 0503, and 0707. I cant really imagine that all the o2 codes are dead I am thinking that they are being tripped by whatever is stalling/bucking the engine.
I haven't looked into anything fuel related yet (filter/ pump) . I'm just hesitant to change anything on this car I don't have to. I read all the damn time of org members dropping close to a grand on parts that they really didn't need to replace all to see their problem still exist. I also don't want to just surrender the car to come shop so they can charge me 600 for all the o2 sensor swaps and labor and still have the stalling/idling issue continue.
