I kno I'm gonna have a walbro adjustable fpr.. 1 stage colder plugs... But as far as setup I'm not sure wat setup I'm gonna run though... I still gotta look into that. I do kno I want my power to come on around 2500-3000 rpm though.

And kevlo whatever level ur on I plan on surpassing it... Lol
I'm trying to have the fastest 4th gen on the org.

Can't wait to see your progress. I believe the time you have to beat is 10.85. Not sure if Jime is still on the org, but I think he is the holder of the world's fastest Maxima.

What are you doing to the motor/tranny? I know you're not gonna be the fastest max with the stock powertrain. I am only running 8-9psi on mine and I am scared to go higher incase the tranny takes a poop.

It is gonna be hard to spool at 2500 and make alot of power up top. My HX35 spools around 3500-4000 but I have RMT, im sure if it was mounted up front it would spool closer to 3000

Yea after reading a lil more I thing I'm gonna do. A forward y pipe style.. As at as powertrain and so on more research will have to be put in to see what my options are and what's safe for it to still be dd. Until I get another vehicle since my truck got stolen. But I kno I want to have it setup to where at about 3-4 psi I can get down around 250-260 hp. But I'm still piecing it all together.. All I have right now is the turbo and a ssqv bov

Interested in the setup as well. How you would mount the turbo and what not. I have owned 3 DSM's, but I assume its harder to turbo a 6 cyl? Anyhow, take alot of pics for sure.

What I'm thinkin is mounting it down by the tranny. I want to keep the engine bay as stock as possible. Not to mention I read that that would keep the turbo cooler also.( not remove the battery)
aackshun what's the guy in Kansas runnin?
Snypa what's goin on 4th gen twin?? I dunno if we still on twin status though I got r34s now and I got my g35s painted black. Gotta update my sig.

grey99max, take a look in the Nitrous section, if you want the fastest maxima, that's going to be one of em, I'm sure other members on here can point you in the direction of other fast maxima owners too, funny thing is, they would not hesitate one bit to help you out!!

A T3/T4 with a .50 A/R will not get you that title especially with a lot of people including myself running bigger turbos, and the NA and nitrious'd VQ35s pretty much are the law when it comes to "fastest". But good luck to you if you dont have one go and buy a beater before you start this project, trust me you will need it.

this turbo it just going to be my starting point before i go crazy. especially since this one is the only car im driving right now. i want to see what i can put down with this turbo before i go bigger. plus right now im looking for more of a highway bandit, more than a track monster. and i know that this turbo isnt going to be the turbo that puts me in the upper echelon but for the price i got it for its gonna go in the car first.

i'd buy a truck before i would start on this project. Do you know what size injectors you are going to be running? And what are your power goals?

I'm thinkin 370cc and I want to be somewhere around 300-350whp with this turbo before I go further. If I put that down who knows I may just stay around there so the car I'd still daily driverable.. Lol. But I don't plan on startin it until I have the truck because I'm not going to be car less during this little project. Plus I still have more to get to go into it. I only have the turbo and bov right now, and I still have other parts in my house to go in like my udp, and 00vi, and safcII. This turbo project probably won't start until winter time so I can be 100% by next summer.

you need a beater before starting a project like this, unless you plan on using public transportaion or can walk to work.

Other wise you definitely will need another vehicle, installing a custom turbo is not a 3-4 hr job

Find an emanage ultimate for tuning, an safc can work but its not very good for tuning a boosted car. And your gas mileage will just be the worst thing you have ever seen. I would suggest going ahead and getting your IC piping too, 3". And like the guys that are boosted have told me it will take you atleast a year to get the car running the way you want it a lot of small tweaks here and there.

BTW i have some 370cc sidefeeds im not gonna use as well as a few other misc items if you want them. Check my sig.

ive got a vafc-II right now that ive gotta install with my 00vi but im stll going to try and find an emanage. A friend of mine owns a shop and he had an exhaust guy that does custom piping and what not. so im gonna get him to fab up all my piping for the turbo and my exhaust.
