still studdering after new motor/trans/axel

Since I've owned my car it has studdered I'd I let out of the throttle and then sharply press the throttle back to 1/8 to 1/2 throttle. If doesn't do it so much for full throttle. It also does it with harder rpm matched shifts and some normal shifts.

Now after 6 years I swapped in an lsd and 3.5 from another .org member. Same problem now so that rules out tps, clutch,fw,pp, tb, basicly anything from the wheels to the intake.

I put a junkyard maf on a few years ago when mine went out all together, and that made no difference. Why would my car shudder like this for so long without eventually breaking the bad part or getting worse or better?

What could it be and what are some troubleshooting ideas?

Also. Its not a suspension shudder. Its more of a shakey bogg then it picks up after about 2 seconds from the start of the shake. The only time anything like this has happeded to me was on a vw powerd rail and the crossmember was broken alowing the transmission to flex and slip somehow causing a jerky motion. But that was much more severe and would accually cause a major loss in acceleration. The trouble I'm having only lasts a couplke seconds and just pauses acceleration for the length of the studder.

The shaking from tapping the pedal is gone now it seems but hard shifts if feels like its choking down for a second before it accually catches up and goes.

You know what is funny, I have had the same issue for 2 years and I can't rule out what it is. The only thing I havent done is replace all the ignition coils but one mech at a shop told me when I was trying to go for an O-Scope test, was that it could of been Transmission Shutter. IT is very annoying it is almost like the engine is stopping then going when u either do hard shifts or double tap the throttle.

I usually get it to happen a lot in higher gears and higher speeds but have gotten that shake/studder when shifting hard to 2nd in rain. Its hard to get it to do it at low speeds cause of all the torque. Ive replaced MAF, Motormounts, Clutch, done tons of sensor tests and I can't rule it out either. I F'N hate it but I have to live with it.

bump just to see if anyone has figured it out. I was told a 300zx maf might fix it becuase ours dont handle the sudden changes in air flow. That would explain why it got worse with the 3.5 swap.

I have this same issue and nothing fixed it... but what im thinking is that this is not an engine problem but a trans problem. It's like when it happens the trans is being confused as to what gear it in or maybe confused as to what gear it should drop in next.

IDK just a guess maybe or a dumb noob suggestion... but what else could it be if you've done everything possible to the engine and you still have this problem. Could it be this part http://www.partstrain.com/store/includes_v4/secure/popup.php?type=moreℑ=L2ltYWdlcy9wcm9kdWN0X2ltYWdlc y9pbWFnZXMvV09STERQQUMvVzAxMzMxNjA3MzY5T0VBLkpQRw= =&title=T0UgQWZ0ZXJtYXJrZXQgQXV0b21hdGljIFRyYW5zbW lzc2lvbiBTb2xlbm9pZA==&text=

fixed it. TPS needed adjusting. it was only off by 0.2v at wot and 0.05v at closed throttle.

My only guess is that our ecu has no map for less than 0% throttle causing it to "freak out" for a second after pressing the throttle.

What through me off was the fact that its a completely different motor and sensor. The only thing i can think of as to why it did it with both is resistance in the wire being different from my car to the donor car. That would explain why the problem was there before and after the swap. Worse after also.
