I used wd-40 and it worker great. There is no need for a hair dryer.

Hey. I took the emblems off the trunk but whoever owned my max before me repainted the car and taped off the emblems. There's are outlines of the emblems on my trunk. When I get the car compounded will it come out? Does it need to be wetsanded? Or do I have to get the trunk repainted?
