I feel your pain. I did the same thing but not so fast, luckily my airbags didnt deploy. Steering wheel isnt hard to get off. Puller helps, careful with the clockspring.

I did do the exact same thing while i was drunk. Biggest mistake i could ever make and now i have a fender, door and hood to replace and repaint. I know a shop that can get you nardi and personal steering wheels and bride seating. but they expensive

Well said man, but I do agree with 95Maxed. Drinking and driving... That's scratched off my list, for good now. Tis better to have been saved than to have crashed.

Off my list too FOR GOOD! Paying the price now, by way of fines and license suspension..

I also had airbags deploy before.. Not hard to replace the airbags, got 'em from a junk yard for small bills. Though the bolts for the passenger bag required me to sit upside down in the passenger seat for 15 minutes.

what always gets to me is how ppl DONT use seatbelts while drinking and driving.

I have always figured you DO want to wear seatbelts while drinkin and driving.

That sucks bro, I did the same once while it was iced over only going like 10 mph though. Bent the **** out of my control arm. I can only imagine what yours look like. Before you go repairing things make sure the unibody is not bent where the control arm bolts to it. If it is bent I would just suggest letting her go man.

Reply to all:

Luckily no police came, and i managed to get the car towed to my house. My neighbor and I then set out to bring her back, all that is left for me to repair now is, fender, hood, and door, and the srs stuff.

stuff i replaced: shocks, driver side control arm, inner & outer tie rods, driver side caliper, knuckle, wheels (because my vienna on the front driver side basically exploded). so yes drinking alcohol and driving is never gonna be on any list for me again, but i did wear my seat belt which stopped me from face planting into my steering wheel
