Resetting ECU Help
I replaced the EGRC Solenoid Valve and went to reset the ECU. My problem is when turning the screw "there is no stop". I don't know where the position even is at the current moment. I reset the ECU as the CEL light is gone, but when I start the car, it idles kinda low (400rpm) and feels a little rough (not as a bad when I was throwing the 1005 & 7001 codes). I feel like I maybe didn't put the screw in the right position. The only thing I can notice is there is a slight "psssssh" noise that I'll hear if I turn the ECU screw. Is that the stop point? How do I get it back to normal? Any help appreciated, thanks!

This may sound dumb, but would it hurt to keep trying to screw it counter clockwise... I remember a long time ago when I first got the car, the screw would go prob 3/4 of a turn and that was enough. Now it just turns and turns and turns.

my concern is that the ECU screw is maybe not in the right spot now, and I am not able to find where I should set it.. or if it is ok, and I just need to adjust via the Idle Air Control Valve
thoughts?

Turn the screw ccw until it stops to put it in the original position, then turn it cw until it stops, go back to original position after 2 seconds ,then immediately turn it cw until it stops and go back to original position again. This should reset cel if im not mistaken. Just be careful of the force you use, as I've heard the screw breaks easily

LOL no problem. Yeah I remember it not being a full turn. I am actually using the pshhhhhh as a stop point and I think I've gotten it.

The stop point referred to is where the screw does not spin easily. The sticker on the ECU says do not force past stop and has little ticks that line up with the screw head.
If you or a previous owner was not gentle and forced it past its stop point you may have broken your screw. Now i'm not sure what this means for your ECU someone else will have to chime in on that.
