still figuring out how to upload vids and/or even pictures to this damn forum.. call me a noob, go ahead lol...
well, beleive it or not i can feel a difference in the top end, and like nealoc stating, no decrease in power at all.
sounds pretty sweet as well, minus my little hole in flex pipe lol!!

Straight-piped 3.5. You're not the only one that's done it.
Car sounded sick, but within 25-30 minutes of driving it, the sensory overload would start to kill you.

from what I understood after reading your op, you're replacing the muffler with a pipe. It won't sound bad or be that loud. I took my ugly fart can off my 4th gen and replaced it with a pipe, it actually went a tad bit quieter and sounds a bit deeper. Inside the car its tolerable, with ac blowing and radio playing you can barely hear it. It doesn't sound raspy, and it doesn't back fire. I do have the 3 cats still, so that keeps it from being to loud...

Its loud and deep. But sounds good. Just dont get caught with the cops cause some of them will look behind and under your car

it's going to be loud, but not ungodly so assuming you still have a cat and a resonator.
you aren't going to lose any power either. the people saying you lose power from reducing backpressure simply don't know what they're talking about. you gain power from a reduction in backpressure. furthermore, this change in your exhaust configuration is so far down the exhaust system that it's probably not going to make any noticeable change in your power at all.
