Brown Dash Annoyances

Looks Like I'm FINALLY Able To Post My Own Thread Here Okay So I Was Awaken By My Pops This Past Saturday While He Was At A Junkyard And He Told Me About The 3 Junk Maximas They Had In The Yard. I Hop Up And Immediately Head Over There To See What They Have. And What Do I Find? A Mint Interior From A 99 SE Black Leather Heated Seats, Door Panels, Steering Wheel, Practically Everything. Offered To Sell It To Me For 200 Cash Which I Gladly Accepted. Anyways, Had To Go To Work And My Dad Calls And Tells Me That They Aren't Able To Take Out The Black Dash (Which Is What I Really Wanted). How Difficult Do You Guys Think It Is To Have My Brown Dash Removed And Swapped For The Black? I've Heard Anywhere From An Hour To 10 Although 10 Doesn't Seem Logical.

It's really not that bad, you'd be suprised. As for time, I dunno, probably 5 to get the old one out & new one in? I dunno, but it's not like some cars.

It's more time consuming than difficult.

Here's a thread on dash removal.

Just sounds like a lot of work, and you have to make sure that you put everything back properly so that theres no rattling while you're driving.

Definitely not hard. Just a lot of screws and such to keep track of.

Well If I Can Get My Hands On A Black Dash I'd Be Willing To Travel To Your Neck Of The Woods To Ensure That The Job Gets Done Correct And There's No Rattling

You have to have a first time sometime. Everyone is nervous doing something the first time, but like we are all telling you, it's not that bad. It will take you longer to drive round trip to NY then it will to do it your self.

Inspiring Words... I'm Gonna Go Back To The Junk Yard And Get Them To Pull The Dash Out When I Get Paid Again... Where'd You Get The Black Carpet From? I May Do That And Just Keep The Tan Headliner
