Just as the title says, when i hit the lock button my passenger side front door will not lock it buzzes for a sec then nothing. Also now that i have tinkered with everything today now my courtesy lights wont light up. The end result here is to get all my doors to lock when i hit the lock button, mainly so i can keep trying to get my key fob to program. I have heard from a few sources that it wont program with my ingition cylinder in the conditon its in (i can put my house key in it and start my car) local stealership wants 250 bucks to replace the cylinder and give new key and then another 45 to program key fob. I took the fob to autozone and had it checked and they sad it had to be programmed to a car before it wont show if the remote worked. I personally thought was bs but im at a loss with having the fob and not knowing if it works. Also my security light on dash doesnt light up at all now, but when i was trying to check out the locks earlier today my alarm went off. I know its a bit long winded and multiple problems but im out of ideas. Tia

A while back my locks had a Ba gremlin. The doors would lock and unlock by themselves in quick succession thus causing my alarm to randomly go off. It made me leave my doors unlocked until I could fix it just so the alarm wouldn't kill my battery or my apt complex wouldn't tow it bc it was annoying. I had to trace so many wires it wasnt even funny. Electrical problems in a 4th gen just come with the territory. Hope yours is mechanical GL

Its wierd bc if i try to lock it it just buzzes but i try to unlock it itll unlock everytime and every once in a while when i try to lock it itll lock about halfway but wont fully lock. It acts like something is sticking
