MAF jerking backprobing

So recently after changing the Valve cover gaskets touching the wiring harness that led to my MAF would lead the engine to cutout just my touching the wiring harness that connects to the MAF, then today afterschool it started jerking city driving. checked out the positive wire (backprobe) checked good, checked negative and it checked good, however checking continuity black lead on negative battery terminal and red lead on the MAF Signal Output Circuit wire (white) I got 4.53ohms, does this mean this white wire is bad? however with engine on and testing it, it tested out fine, my MAF is fine something is up with the wiring. Is 4.53 not good or normal?
