urgent need help identifying tranny

I have a 99 5 speed. I'm doing cv axle seals and the passenger side does not look anything like the new one I bought. Do I have to order a new kind? I thought I had the tranny that ended in A, is there a badge on my tranny to tell me which one it is?

If yout tranny was never replaced, check the plate on the firewall. It will list your tranny model.

There is no difference in the passenger side axle no matter what trans type you have. Only the driver's side axle is different.

What about it doesn't look right?

BTW I'm from Kalamazoo too.
