Engine shuts off in neutral.....

This is the 2nd time this happend. Tonite on my way home on the highway, going about 75mph, shift into neutral to slow down to pay toll. As soon as I shift into neutral, the engine shuts off with all the light indicators on (engine light, oil light, etc.) I slow down and shift into 3rd, let go off the clutch and the engine starts back on. Weird huh? Can anyone help out what seems to be the problem. Thanx..

Mine does this every once in a while. Never have figured it out. Not too worried about it either. It happens like once a month.

it is ur idle air control valve, belive me i went over this with one hundred people, the tps sensor(connected to the butterfly throttle) sends signal to idle air control valve to turn it on when ur car is in neutral, to fix this i temporarily raised the idle screw to keep it idle, but when u fix the idle air control valve, or adjust the tps sensor, that will fix it, im tellin u, dont temporarliy change the screw like me, becuz when u have them put in the idle valve, it never turns on becuz me changing the screw made the car thing i was lightly touching the gas, just tell nissan to look at idle air control valve and if not that, to adjust the tps sensor ask me again if i confused you, but this happend to a lot of people from what i know, and thats how we fixed the problem.
