intake

intake

so i put my intake filter on today and damn it sounds good but the sensor that plugs into the pipe at the bottom is that important?

That would be your MAF sensor.

think about that for a second. its your intake temp sensor and mine was just laying around the engine bay for a while until i put it in. i had no issues

would that be the little plug in the lower part of the stock intake pipe?

Yup. It can just chill out near the filter.

ok kool and i was just on ebay and found the pipe and filter part between the intake manifold and the MAF for less then what i paid for the filter and adapter. i will be returning everything tomorrow and ordering that kit when i get home.

What kind of air filter are you using?

well you could get a cool resistor from radio shack unplug the sensor and put the resistor where the sensor would be. then you could tell everybody you have a "performance chip"

so yeah you can just have it chill with no major problems

I picked up the OBX intake tubes for $35 shipped. You can do a ram intake or run it all the way to the ground. Try searching it on ebay

You should look into aem dryflow filter.

i know im goin to get cussed or something but i have been trying to figure out if the 95-96 grill will fit on the 97-99 front end?

yes but you willhave 2 inch gap on each end of the grille, due to the 95-96 grille being shorter
