De-Pin VQ Ecu

Hi Guys,

Just looking at some advice for de-pining a VQ ecu.

Its actually a VQ30DET loom from a nissan cima, but im hoping since the vq is in the maxima that the plug is similar if not the same.

I want to know if anyone has master the trick of removing the ECU pins.

I moved the grey thing up slightly, it dient go far. some nissan ecus have similar locks that come all the way out. Is this means to pull out, or just pop out slightly?

anyother tricks?

I managed to get one out, nfi how i did it, or if i did it right tho.

cheers, Christian

No tricks really, pull up the grey tab and pull a pin out of the connector. It'll take some force, but it'll come out.

I thought maybe you would need to put a pin tool in the other side to move a locking tab or something
