I think I found the culprit of my P1320 & P0306 issue **PICTURE**

After replacing all new spark plugs to NGK and all new coil packs, I was wondering why my car is still running weird as if it's missing/stumbling at random interval. If I drive the car for a long period of time, the issue sometimes goes away completely. Well, After looking around the engine bay for a little bit and repeatedly replacing the coil pack #6 and the car still doesn't run right, I found out the coil pack harness wires have strange electrical tape wrapping around it. Look at what I found when I remove the electrical tapes...

How do I go about fixing this cluster****?

the right way to do it would be to take them all apart to see if there are any shorts or damge to wiring from ****ty splicing. then id redo them all with solder/shrink tubes, and then cover it all in elect. tape.

really just because theres splicing doesnt mean its necessarily bad, but because youre having issues, and from the pic it looks like some wires have melted, that could be your issue.

Here is a closer pic. Also as you can see, the guy who did it ran the 3 red wires into 1, is it okay to leave it as such when I redo the connection? If so, can I group the 3 black (assuming ground) wires together just like the red?

Look at the charred/burnt end, it looks like it's from the inside doesn't it?

I dont know why he did that, but that is extremely dangerous. You need to cut all of that out, solder it like you're supposed to, and use decent heat shrink unlike that. It is most likely burnt from the heat used to shrink it, not the wiring itself but who knows? It could be. Fix that ASAP

The wire that is showing the burning is because the crimp is loosening up. If the wire is heating up, it is probably crystalizing and that end needs to be cut back. You may need to splice in a short piece of wire so that the overall length is the same as all the others.

As for the 3 wires in one, those may be the 12 volts that goes to each coil pack. As they are all crimped together right now, they could be soldered together in one big connection, but I think it would be better to make them 3 separate wires again. Keep the black wires separate also.

I would check the wiring diagrams make sure they go where they belong and start the wiring business again with new wiring wraps.

Update:

I cut and solder every single wire and the car is running perfect....for now. Gotta see how it is when it's cold out.

I still have the P1320 code but the P0306 code is gone.

Bad news, this still doesn't fix the idle stumbling/misfiring. The car only does it at idle, when I'm diving the car runs perfect.

I'm at a complete loss. Replaced coils, spark plugs, iacv assembly, fixing the wiring doesn't help.
