Can a 95 light switch with foglight switch work on a 97 non fog light switch car?

 

It should be fine. I know you can swap a foglight equipped switch directly in while installing fogs (the wire is even ther to plug in). The year difference would be my only concern, however I dont think there should be a difference. Get a wrecking yard part and try it. Its only a 20 minute install.

 

The 95 & 96 have one part number, 25540-40U60.
The 97 - 99 have a different one, 25540-0W000.

No idea what the difference is.

 

as long as you wire it correctly it will work. Never noticed a difference between the 2 but apparently there is one

 

Its different the junkyard has a 99 I just go back & swap the part out thanks guys

 

They are diff. Plugs are not the same
