immobilizer key issues please help!

OK so i recently discovered that my car has an old astrostart remote start system in it. So i thought cool, so i bought a key fob for it off eBay and everything worked great to lock and unlock the car after i programmed it to the remote start system under my dash but then i soon discovered that when i went to start the car it would not start it would just keep cranking. so i then discovered that i need my spare key in the 555u box under my dashboard to get it to work after i emailed astrostart. so i opened the box and i find a spare key (the person who sold me the car only gave me one key and key fob.) so then i was confused at the fact the key was not starting my car with the remote start. so then i tried it in my ignition and no luck car would just keep cranking and not turn over. so then i called Nissan and they said bring the car to them with both keys so they can reprogram the keys to the car for 60 dollars. so i did that today and got the car back with both keys working. so then i put the spare key back in the 555u unit under the dash and used my remote start about 3 or 4 times later on in the day. it worked perfectly. then i went to go pick up my girlfriend from work and it was cold so i went to use the remote starter again, but this time it did what it was doing before i got the keys programmed just kept turning but wont start. so then i went outside and tried to start the car with my original key in the ignition. no luck at all both keys were not starting the car. so i took the key out of the remote starter unit under the dash and tried it in the ignition and still no luck. so then i called Nissan and explained that 5 hrs ago i got my keys programmed to the car and and they both worked fine but randomly stopped working, so they said that i need to have the car towed to them tmrw because there is something wrong with my car because it wont hold a program.

so im about to spend 200+ on a tow to Nissan because they are out of town because of this BS that happened to me today. so my question is why did this happen? my original key worked fine for about a year now but when i went to get the key that i found in the remote start programmed both keys wont work randomly a couple hrs later? any way that the spare key i found under the dash is defective by any chance and is throwing off the program in the keys? or anyway using my remote start screwed up the programs in the keys? im pretty aggravated and wish i didn't have to deal with security chips in my keys right now.

also I did a search for about an hr and didn't find any answers to anything that happened today.

The keys aren't screwing up, the remote start unit probably is. You never had any problems until you started using the remote start.

The key has a small chip in the one corner of the head that emits a radio frequency identification code (RFID) to the NATS module in the steering column. The dealer or local locksmith programs the NATS unit to recognize the RFID code from the keys you have.

The remote start unit has to somehow take the RFID signal from the key you put in it and relay it to the NATS unit. That evidently isn't happening and you end up immobilized.

If you didn't send of the Max I'd just suggest removing the whole system itself

i want to rip it out but i don't know how. but when it comes to selling the max in the future i don't want someone to buy it thinking it has a remote start and then just throw their money down the drain like i just did.
