Currently, I have PIAA Superwhites.

I just ordered the Hanabi 6000k HID conversion kit from 97GLES (Freddie). So, I will be replacing my PIAAs. However, I also have brand new, in the box a Focuz 9004 HID conversion kit w/ Phillips ballasts (4300k) if you're interested. I bought this kit prior to buying the 6000k kit.

Ndo125:

I'll email you price considerations.

I believe the difference between the two kits lies within the color temperature (6000k vs. 4300k). The Hanabi's will be brighter and have a slight blue tint, while the Focuz's will show a more "white" light. Personally, I bought the 6000k kit since it had a slight blue tint and will naturally be a bit brighter (see Deezo's thread on the Hanabi kit).

The Focuz 4300k kit has the Phillips ballasts which I believe are used in other kit like the Osram. The kit has never been installed and comes complete with all the hardware.

little help please.......

Ok,

There are some HIDs for sale here and i'd like to know the different between those....

Osram HID vs Focuz HID vs Panasonic HID vs Hanabi HID???

Which one is brighter? easier to see in rain???
I don't have fog lights in my GLE and I'd like to make sure that my headlight is good enough to handle any weather....
i understand that I will lose my highbeam when i install HID

Look up JC Whitney online. www.jcwhitney.com

They have a bulb called Diamond Blue. Also availavle in Xenon. They are the best HID simulated bulb you can buy. My opinion of course.
Combine that with the PIAA extream side markers 1157 running at 27 watts and the Platnum H3 for the fogs and you have PERFECT color matched lights for the entire front of your car.

Whatever you guys do don't try the Showoff USA Krypton Gas Purple. These bulbs suck big time. For one the are supposed to be purple but look more pink than anything else, maybe even lavender. They are supposed to be 4300k and they are pretty bright but i got hyper industries xenon bulb in my corner running at 27 watts and they are bright than my freakin headlights. I can't wait until i can afford an HID conversion kit (preferably the Hanabi 6000k!!!)

I think spending $60 for bulbs sucks when they don't do anything more than $18 bulbs.

I don't even know why I bother anymore.
