To those of you with a dvd headunit with rear view camera installed..

Where's the best place to pick up the reverse light circuit to plug into the headunit??

I have a 5 spd.. Is there an easy place near the trans to tap into it? Or is it easier to tap in @ the reverse light bulbs and run it up with the video cable??

 

The neutral/reverse switch is on the driver's side, top of the transmission toward the back of the engine compartment. There is a two wire plug attached - one green wire and one green/white wire. The green/white wire is the one you want to use. It goes thru a connector into the passanger compartment, then thru the main body harness that runs up the driver's side of the car to the back -- it is green/white all the way to the back-up lamp sockets on the trunk.
