95 maxima start up probleM

I have a 1995 Nissan maxima GLE automatic.
The only way my car will start is if I give it gas. Any idea why this is?

Are yoiu in a cold weather region? Lots of possibilities here. Have you done any maintenance? Have you measured fuel pressure?? Definitely need to search and find all the answers that are already provided for you.

But now that you mention it. This tends to only happen in cold weather, or when it's wet out. I'll do my Research. Thanks

How the he11 would giving it gas affect it if it was the starter or ignition switch?

Its probably in the TB or IACV. Have they been cleaned?
