Camshaft PS leak

It's my turn to have the camshaft position sensor leak, so it's time to replace to O ring. This is what I found when i pulled it: http://s397.beta.photobucket.com/use...tml?sort=6&o=0

The "ring" near the base is flat, and it's hard plastic. I think I'd have to break it to get it off. It's not what I would have called an O ring. It also looks like it's in perfect shape. There's no sign of another ring. Should there be an O ring that goes around the base, or is that the only ring?

Hope you noticed it before it leaked all over everything below the sensor. It seems to drip down directly onto the passenger side lower control arm bushing. I just picked my old one off with a pocket knife and it broke soon as I stuck the blade under it. There is only the one ring that goes with it. Regardless of how perfectly fine it may look, if you've got oil coming from that sensor, go ahead and replace it. I replaced mine not too long ago. I got an O Ring from AdvanceAuto. Here is the exact part I purchased for $0.99

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...-nut_3490599-p

Fits perfect and hasn't leaked a drop since.

I really don't know where it's at in the store. Just do like I did, place the order online for free in store pick up and they'll have it waiting on you when you get there at the counter.
