18" wheels curiosity (inb4 wrong section)

I posted this inthe wheels/tires section already but i would like some insight from the 4th gen section as well since it seems to get more traffic and have a vast sea of knowledge to all who dare enter the fire.

So. This guy wants to trade me these wheels for some spare lexus wheels I have. He thinks they're oem lexus wheels for a 99 sc300, but after some research they are actually called "AXE AP30". For some reason they were thrown on a lexus suv when I had only seen applications in high performance rwd turbo cars.

edit: Wheels are branded Axe made by Lenso

Does anyone know of these wheels or anything at all about them? Also, they are staggered 18x8/9.5 woth 30/35 offset. What tires would be safe to run lowered on ebay springs (sagged a decent amount) and with a very stiff setup.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

I see curb damage. Also Toyota (Lexus) has a smaller center bore so Lexus OE wont fit. If they are aftermarket the bore should be big enough.

Yeah there's some scuff on the lip but it's pretty shallow so i might could work with it.. And they are not Lexus OEM, he just thought they were because of the stick-on center caps someone put on there.. No offense but I take it you didn't read my long-a** boring post? lol

Yes I did, I was just stating two points of fact for future searches.

1. Toyota (Lexus) has a smaller center bore so Lexus OE wont fit.
2. If they are aftermarket the bore should be big enough.

i'm sure they'll fit, i just didn't want to be getting total crap since i had never heard of AXE wheels. But if that statement goes for everyone then this is a pointless thread..

Think what he is trying to say is double check the bore size before even considering it. If they were purchased to fit on that lexus then the bore size could be too small....

Thank you. I thought my message was pretty clear, but maybe not.

No no I misread I see now. My apologies. I was medicated when I saw that and now I'm better lol. I think that the pains of these wheels are going to outweigh a regular setup (and probably not look as good). I'll probably still have the wheels so input is still welcome. And I believe the bore is 70+ mm on these specific wheels so I'm not so worried about that. Just fitment and quality/durability.

you are likely to have unwanted vibration with the incorrect bore size..unless you get rings to correct. The bore size is more important than you think.

Yeah I decided against that whole setup. The center bore was correct on the pictured wheels and incorrect on any lexus wheels. I'm just going to find some muranos instead of trying to mix it up with some other company oem crap
