Already looked for one. Didn't c my year car in his list of goodies. Never the less, not spending 600 for an ecu. Don't see spending that much on this car. I'll try to find one used. Thanks again jsutter for all it help!

Post a WTB for a '96 ECU and go from there if you want JWT.
If you go emanage/there is work involved to tune yourself, and it is also about $600+
Pay to play.

Ya thanks guys. Already figured out they don't make a 98. Gonna post in classifieds thanks. But this ecu just increases rev to 71, 72k rpm. That's not making my trans shift any longer though, right? I mean the trans shift points are gonna stay the same. I'm a look into blue or Freddy as long as I can change my trans shift. I regret starting this thing. For the money I put it in coulda build another civic. test drove the maxima and feels like there's power loss. Was reading about putting e tape around the coils, May fix my idle surging up and down. Not sure how that would help, don't feel a misfire but in a do it anyways.

I am revisiting this to update what actually works. The original fittings were too small. They made noise and caused issues with cold idle and hard starts.
I have increased them to 1/2" NPT with a 3/4" hose barb. I drilled and tapped a hole on the back of the intake to add a barb (kind of under the cruise control actuator) and plugged the holes in my TB plate. I used a heater core hose to plumb it. Everything runs perfect now.
Old fitting in white.

With the setup shown there are some bugs to work out with the IACV routing. The IACV sucking in air makes an awful lot of noise. I pinched it off for now just so I could hear myself think. I will have to revise my method of taping the fresh air from under the TB. It may have to go back into the mid pipe. Or I need different fittings.
