Anyone with a 99 Maxi with a bad TACH?
I ordered one and didnt realize it prolly doesnt fit my car. Mines a 99 :/
I was looking at images of the backs of 99 clusters and the screws that hold the tach in from the back on the 1995 cluster are arranged differently. Im either going to have to bust out the dremel and some solder and use it
or dump it and get a 95-97 one?

Wait. Your car is a 99?
What are you trying to accomplish here? Most of the time people just resoldered everything and it would fix the issue.
If you're gonna replace the whole cluster use one from a 98-99

sorry i should have chosen my words more carefully
its a 95 and I had mistakenly bought a 99 tach
which it seems wont fit
The vendor was in the middle of a move though and had trouble locating the part ..so I got really lucky. He issued me a full refund lol
mods just delete this one if you want. no real useful info here sorry :/
