I was asking because my 99 ecu went out and im trying to put a 95 Fed max auto ecu in my 99se Cali Spec auto. I was going by the write up and i move pin 117 to 11 which is showing there is nothing in pin 11 slot on the 99 harness so i had to get a smaller pin since the pin117 is too big. And i switched pin 46 and 47 with 44 and 48. Is there a NATS PIN number and slot ? Oh by the way my car still want start. I was looking at the FSM EC DIAGRAM on the 99max PAGE 13 ON THE 99MAX EC FSM, why is it showing 17 NATS immu. Did i wire it up wrong or did i mess my ecu up i didnt smell anything burnt on my ecu.

OK, you opened up a can of worms. To start with, the FSM does have errors in it. Every so often I come across one. But I don't think this comment applies to the pin 17 and NATS.
But what does apply is another quirk of Nissan documentation - They don't put out a lot of info on NATS and other security features.
If you look on page 297 of the EL (Electrical) section, it shows an orange wire going to pin 17 of the ECU. This and page EC-11 are the only spots that reference 17.
But since you are not using a 1999 ECU, you lose the NATS feature because older ECUs never had that feature. When I say you lose NATS, NATS becomes inoperative and no longer does anything. It will not disable the engine.
I have never done the ECU swap that you are doing, so I cannot give you specific directions. Other people have done the swap and have documented the details.
But looking at the ECU pinouts, I don't understand why you swapped 46 & 47 with 44 & 48. Those pins are the same on all 5 years of the 4th gen. 46 & 47 are the camshaft senso and you swapped it with the crankshaft reference sensor [CKPS(REF)]. CKPS(REF) is what determines TDC on the engine for ignition timing purposes.
Regardless of what I think, search for the ECU swap articles and do what the article says.
