can a coil pack spring go bad?
Hello,
I'm getting 1.5 + ohms from the coil pack,.the boot isn't chewed and the plug had less than 5k on it. Everything is tight. Ran around the block fine, but hit misfire on the way to work this morning. Only thing I can think of is the spring. Any advice would be much appreciated. The coil pack is Hanshin

They go bad over time, especially the rear ones (cylinders 1, 3, and 5) due to heat breaking down the insulation. Millions of (internal) lightning stirkes and heat over hundreds of thousands of miles will take their toll.
