Bottom Motor mount

So my bottom motor mount finally gave in not sure if its called the motor mount because its this long piece of metal that goes from the tranny to the bottom front fram and it was rusted and dopped a good 4-5 inches so i welded a piece of about 3-4 ft of angle iron thickest and strongest i could find to hold up the engine everythings great now except the car has a shake to it. anyone else ever done this before?

It's the radiator support that's rusted out. Happens to quite a few. You should replace the whole piece and if the lower tie bar is gone, that too.
