Howto: Analog to Digital cluster swap

Quick document I wrote up on swapping an analog ('95-'97) to digital ('98, '99) instrument cluster. The only wiring addition you'll have to make is constant B+ for the digital trip meter.

Too large to attach directly to this post (<100kB, really?), so get it from my site (~2.3MB):
A-D Cluster swap (2.3MB)

Lower res (400kB):
A-D Cluster swap (400kB)

Ask if you have questions, but it should be pretty straight forward.

So is it plug-n-play with the exception of the constant B+ for the trip meter?

No, you still need to swap the connectors over. I would just set up a PnP harness if the female cluster harness connector was available (instead of being a flex PCB).
