Any suggestions welcome. New here.

I have a 1999 maxima given to me by my mom when she bought a 2011. When I first went to this site I was blown away with all the modifications you can do. Any suggestion on the first one to do? It is already chipped. Also, how do you upload pictures on the mobile site?

Welcome to the org. It depends on what you're looking for first, style, or performance. Also depends at what you're looking to spend.

Style wise on the cheap side: clear bunper lights. Makes the car look so much better imo. Style not so cheap: lip kit is popular, and for good reason, because it makes the car look modded, without a ricey looking body kit.

Performance, nothing is "cheap". Y pipe and exhaust can give a good bit of HP and TQ for your money. Upgrading the suspension is supposed to do this car wonders, as well.

Search around the org for more, because it's all definitely here. The how to section has a few things on upgrades, too.

How many miles? Give us more details! That's a clean max you got there too.

Y-pipe is best bang for buck. Headers if you're ballsy, intake, and mostly SUSPENSION. Redoing your suspension will give your car literally a like new feel.

It's got 210,000 and no problems what so ever. Mechanic can't believe how clean the engine is. Original paint (14 years old and near flawless). Mom was the 2nd owner. Someone built it and had the car made for them and didn't like it so they took it back. What else you want to know? Haha

people throw the term "chipped" around haphazardly... is it a piggyback??? is it an actual chip that has been added to your ecu? is it a ecu reflash like osirus uprev?...

this is what I was asking.

No problem.

Have fun, search for your "ideas" in the forums and you will find a wealth of information.

There are lots of cool people on here who can do AMAZING things with this car. It looks like you have a decent platform there...

I said it wrong again. It's a NIStune daughter board. Whatever the hell that is. He showed me where it's at I'll take a picture in the daylight tomorrow.

it's a NIStune daughter board. Not a re-flash. This is confusing.
