new lloyds custom mats

i recently bought a set of these from autoanything.com on sale and they were 100.00 shipped. i was promised that they were oem fitment and better than oem quality/thickness.

man, i can't believe the cheap wallmart quality of these and they cut them up all mis-shaped trying to make them cover more area i guess. they came embroidered with my org name on them which looks nice, but overall i was not happy with how thin they were and the ant-slip backing is, eh.

these are the cheapest set they carry and usually sell for 141.00!!! i complained about the weight and cut not being as promised and they said no problem and i got a full refund!! woot!! for free i'll rock them all day!! here they are

i like them but the weight and thickness is going to be their downfall. i think they'll holdup a little longer than walmart mats. they look nice but i'm afraid to use them.

I found the Purple Power and Orange concentrate cleans carpet too like new appearance but you need a wet/dry vacuum too suck all the yucky crap out your carpet and perhaps taking it up or the car and washing it thoruughly with a water hose wuld be the best, wet vac it athen let it dry in the sun on a fence, shep roof, or clothes line!

kinda hard with the temps topping 38 degrees today. i think they came up alot better than i was expecting, wet/dry vac and/or extractor is a pita and i thought the scrubbing with the brush did a better job then the last time i used a machine. i'm going to vacuum as the can recommends and see if they look even a little better.

Im wondering now that you did some serious scrubbing , if you went and rented a rug doctor with the hand attachments or used a kirby vac with the interior wands if you could get the rest out ?

nope, you gotta realize the carpets are 19 years old and i've cleaned them at least 10-11 times. i thought about getting a couple of small brushes to get under the seats better and in the corners. i'll head out later to see what they look like and decide what to do next.
