and saw ur dent, urs is hardly anything compared to mine >.< , i would like to like to trade my dent for urs lol, shouldn't cost much to repair urs though.

i have no clue about mine, mine is creased, metal is bent and theres a bit of "damage" above it, sort of look like "dings" its just that quarter panel that needs love. then it will look new again. and i really do want to repair it, the paint is so good but the dent really kills it!

if u were in my situation, would u get better rims(staying at 15" inch, buying rim from tirerack) or fix the dent first? as the condition of the car. im thinking of rims first since the honeycomb look kinda too stock and make car less sporty lol but at same time the dent kills

GLE's are nice especially with black leather! Mine is in an SE with the vinyl (fake leather), I would die to swap it out for black leather. You should look around at some body shops and get an estimate. You're from the East or West?

i probably should find some estimates but I dont have cash right now and its gonna be scary to hear the estimate, but probably when june comes, which is when I start having $, jobless right now cause im in college. only times i get $ during the year is christmas, birthday and the end of school year (late may) as a reward of completion, so i dont have $ coming in every week lol. but if i save from what i get christmas/bday/end of school year, i possibly can afford to go to the shop and have it repaired.

Understandable man. Same here I got a job here in CT but everything is expensive so the insurance on my max is $210 a month. What kinda gas you use? I only put premium in mine.

yeah, somtimes when money is tight, i have hard choice to pick between which i want to get first, like repairing the dent or get better looking rims to give it a sporty/true luxury look. than just luxury.

i put regular gas lol, as it says on the gas tank "unlead gas only" i once picked premium by accident once and put it in, i think it lasted a tad bit longer on gas.

is there any difference on premium? if i can remember, it ran a bit smoother i think. but not a whole lot

The difference between using regular and premium is that premium burns slower thus it last longer. Plus if you wanna unleash the full power of your max premium is the choice. I been using solely premium since I got the car.

probably gonna just not do the 97 front end and rear end conversion, i do love the look but i think the paint the 96 here, is too good to get rid of as shown, plus i dont gotta spend extra $ as well, and can focus on other things on the car

im thinkin adding a spoilerr(the stock one) to my 96, what you think? with the rims im going to get from tiretrack (lookin at 5 and 6 spoke rims)

I think he means to find a white 97-99 maxima in the junkyard then swap your bumper covers.

Have you seen the thread about mods I think it's the how to's. But there's a lot of things that you might see as helpful. Lol. They have one with installing a Mitsubishi Galant spoiler.

lol if i do get a spoiler, im going to have a shop install it, heard it takes 1hrs max, and my uncle has a mitsubishi galant 2003 that didnt have a spoiler years ago and he installed one idk when, probably 2005. his car looked soo stock, and it looks quite better now. he didnt mod too much, just spoiler/better rims, speakers and head unit. thats all he did i think.

You should have painted the bumper cover before putting it on. It's much easier that way.

I know but the bumper cover is coming off, gotta replace the reinforcement and center bracket. Had no choice the original bumper was starting to sag.

Curious about the bumper as well.

Oem or...?

Any issues installing it if it's aftermarket?
I'm going to need a front bumper just to get rid of all the bad rock chips.

Yeah basically Macco said $250 for the front bumper and $150 per fender.

The bumper is Ebay Aftermarket so my mechanic had some trouble getting to it fit firmly. If you look closely I also changed the fenders which are aftermarket too. So on fitment it might be on the quality of the aftermart parts you get. From what I heard there's different Classes.

They were severely rotted and rusted, one side was bent badly at the bottom from the accident. I wanna give them a try. Right now I'm saving up for a second car maybe a 5th Gen or i30.

Thank you.

Those particular ones aren't sold anymore, but there are plenty of knockoffs.
Some people just bake apart the 97-99 corners and remove the amber lens. Pretty much the same.

The Ebay ones don't look as nice as yours. Lol. Too clear looking. Oh as an update to this thread Macco Quoted me $589 to paint my bumper and fenders, sanding and prep included.
