Please help! Car wont start after several turns and misfire

so i have a 97 maxima that i had for a while. she always had this starting issue where it turned and turned and would start after 8 turns. recently it broke dow(starter went bad)n because of the starting issue and ive been working on it. Ive done everything ive possibly could have thought of. I changed the starter, cleaned all grounds except trans and engine surface, checked all fuses and relays, changed the fuel pump 3 times, ran a fuel pressure test and its giving me 45 psi, changed all three sensors with new ones(crank near pully, crank near transmission, and cam sensor), combustion test and all gave great readings, theres a spark. i even did the timing chain kit on it because a couple of tensioners were worn out. When i go to try to start the car it turns and turns and at times it gives a back fire. something like this....ra ra ra ra ra dunkk ra ra dunk dunk. im clueless what i could try next. any suggestions? also is there a way to check if my ignition switch is working correct? please help with any ideas. its my only form of transportation and i need it to work. thank you
**** when the car starts which is rare, the car runs great and perfect.***

Have you checked the timing? May be agood idea to check your plugs and coils aswell as test your battery and altenator.

Do you have an FSM? Do you have any codes? The FSM has troubleshooting/testing procedures for the sensors involved in starting the car. There are 2 crankshaft position sensors and 1 camshaft position sensor.

I recommend getting a multimeter as measuring continuity is how the FSM says to check some of the sensors, for others, it's measuring voltage.

Is your starter good? It may not be spinning fast enough.

Are you getting fuel? How do your spark plugs look?

Hi bryan did you check the problem out did you get any stored codes from the ecu, if any try that first and then report back with us. I am thinking you can have.anything from electrical to mechanical just check the work you did on the injectors look and follow through or backstep on what you did last.
