99 EGR Delete Questions
I'm working on my 00VI n in order to delete the egr I just need to bypass the throttle body coolant lines n the ones on back of the intake manifold, right? Also need a block off plate for the egr tube n rear header plug, right? Do I missing something?
Does it exist some way to the cel light doesn't turn on with this mod?
Pros and cons?

EGR exhaust gas recirculation helps during cruising to give you better gas mileage etc. There is a factory egr block off tube that came on some '00-'01 Variable Intakes. I found one for myself but then I bought used cattman headers with a egr tube so I'm using egr. But for you, you can block it if you'd like and leave the sensor plugged in and it'll work fine with no cel. Heres a pic of factory egr block off http://forums.maxima.org/8458195-post67.html EGR clogs over time so nobody likes it.

I think you can just not run coolant into the throttle body. You can put a piece of hose from one end to the other nipple. I think that's for cold climates so the throttle plate doesn't freeze. Just make sure before you do it, do a quick search to see if the ecu checks for that temperature so that the iacv doesn't stay in choke mode. Been a while and I forgot.
