Could some help with engine room harness

So I'm trying to figure out how to take out the engine room harness. It's cake till I get to the part where it enters the firewall I been playing around with it for awhile just can't get disconnected cuz it's soo cramped back there. I tried looking around the org it does not seem to be too much input on this no write ups or anything . I seen some where it's suggested to take the dash off but I don't want to resort to that. Any help much appreciated

Unplug everything the engine harness is connected to inside the car and pull it through the fire wall. I did a 5th gen once, wasn't to bad. Took about 4 hrs total. If I remember correctly, I had to drop the steering column and possibly the center of the dash had to come apart.
