I got a hook up apparantly since the delays due to their oven not working. This Maaco does a lot of Classic car restorations. Heck when I dropped by they had a new model Mercedes in there and they color matched the bumper correctly. Yeah my car had a lot of door dings due to me working at a grocery store in the past. Parking lot battles as you call it. Lol.

A lot of people bash on Maaco but it's a get what you pay for situation. From what I heard black and white cars they do the best in painting.

pretty much, ya get what ya pay for. dont most shops give warranties if paint starts to chip or bubble and they repaint for free? its not just maaco, but other shops can have that problem as well.

Lol. Yeah just depends on how much you wanna spend. The Maaco's in my
Area were once regular body shops just decided to brand themselves with the Maaco Franchise.

I heard maaco has 6 paint lines, from cheapest to expensive? like cheapest is a quick job, and expensive is when they take it seriously? or in the middle where its not too fast or slow

dude, they had all 3 of my cars for 2 weeks or more. they take on waayy too much at once and then slap bondo on there and quick sand it and i personally would never trust them again. you'll feel and see the difference between the stock paint and "their" paint.

True I agree with that but we gotta see the finish product before we judge. I'll post a video of the car when I get it back. My car has been there for a Month nearly.

Thanks. I hope so too. The manager is gonna paint and the dude is promising a sharp job. I seen an Altima Coupe he did and it was flawless. I guess my car is in paint prison till the body guy gets to work on it again.

that's what gets me about maaco, they can't stick to their original time frame for the job. they had my stanza for 5 weeks to do a very small amount of work and it was crap. he knows your getting ancy about it, i'd do a stop over and get a couple of quick shots to post up here.

Exactly. Lol. These guys love to lie to, its either Monday, Tuesday or Friday rotation of dates. I'll be posting pics once he tells me to check it out. Last time I swung by just to see the car the same as I saw it last time I took pics.

my insurance paid for the repairs the last time i went to maaco josh, it was supposedly 1,200.00 to fix/repaint my roof, replace side mirror. complete bull$hit, they're horrible, always have been unless you know one of the guys that do the actual work. just looking at the shots he took with all the cars in the same shop covered in white dust tells me they still have'nt changed. i hope for his sake they actually sand down the body and put the proper amount of paint layers, base, color, clear.
