One thing I have learned (through 1st hand Infiniti Q45 ownership experience) is cars from the "oil towns" in TX and OK like Midland/Odessa, Abilene, Amarillo, and Tulsa are often well maintained by the 1st and possibly 2nd owners, garaged, and completely rust free. That is if you can find one without hail damage along the way.

Check out this 5-Speed I30 peach. I call this one rare.

Is that hood so shiny it looks like a mirror that shows the dude and clouds in the sky?

there's soo much sanding that needs to be done to prep that car for it to come out right. there's enough bondo on that car for 3 cars. wow, i hope they spend the time to prep that $hit right.

let's face it, my grandpa could've painted that car faster than those morons. unprofessional and discourteous as hell is what that shop is to make you wait this long. i want dslr pics of the paint when it's done with close ups of all the rusted areas including how much time it takes you to clean up your wheels and make the rest of the car look presentable. trust me, it's going take you at least 2 days to make it look normal again.

I have the same exact feeling too. I think I might make a video of the paint job.

Well its done guys, only problem there's some overspray on the hood. What gets me more angry is they don't accept debt! You know they could have told me that on the phone. My bank doesn't allow me to exceed more than $310 in atm withdraws so I'm out of luck. Have to wait till Monday.

That Idirty is cleannnn but the only reason its paint is so shiny is probably because the hood/body HAS been repainted due to hail lol.

Wow for a Maaco job it doesnt look bad at all. I honestly wasn't expecting much when you started this thread. Have Maaco fix everything before you pay them.

how much was all this job? and why do u have to wait till monday?... curious why they dont accept debt.. money is money.. hope they dont charge credit.

Manager texted me a few mins ago said I can pick it up tomorrow. Says I waited too long to not cruise in my Max. They only accept cash for some reason I couldn't pay because my bank was closed and the Atms have cash withdraw limits.

Insist on paying with your card.

^ got that right. Any business that is even close to a legitimate business accepts cards. If not cards, then they should take check. Cash only tells me the money is going into their pockets.

Nice color! don't see maximas like that everyday. Is it just me, or does the upper part of the bumper on the driver side, look like its not align correctly under the headlight? or could you just be missing the rubber seals that fit under the headlight.

Lol. I noticed that too I'm taking the car monday for the hood issue, seems like clear coat overspray on a corner. I'll make a video when I get around to it. I just put the 6th Gen 18's on.

Rust spots are solid but you can tell its has fiber glass by the feel of it. Retro R34 or the stock headlights?

SWEET looking RIDE! Congratulations Man!

I bet it gets a lot of lookers. Just let your paint cure really good before you start rubbing anything on it.

Thanks bro. Lol. Yeah plenty of people in newer cars compliment it. And I love passing all the Honda boys and their high revving lawn mowers.
