Best lowering combination?

I want to lower my 96 Max about 2 inches and need to know what are the better strut/spring combinations are and which ones I should avoid. Here are a couple links to how low I would like my car to be so if it is not aprox 2 inches plz let me know so I can look for the appropriate drop based on the pix, thanks.

Think I didn't try that already? Lol cmon now...but thanks for bumping my thread
I'm basically looking to hear answers from people who have had good or bad luck with certian strut/spring combinations and a life expectancy for these products...cmax if you have any suggestions as to where to find an answer to my question don't hesitate to come forth with information to help the forum!
Any helpful answers?

By the time you're done reading it, you will know exactly what you want in an upgraded suspension best suited to you and your tastes.

I've been searching for the past week with hit or miss results and mostly threads for newer gen maximas come up. Not only on this site but others...if nobody has an answer for my questions on a 4th gen then apparently you dont know the answer! So lets save the post count for those who can be of assistance, thanks!

I see at least 3 of these threads every other week. And I've found dozens of threads in the past while lurking. I know we seem like ******** telling you to search but we see these threads way to often...

And OP, the suspension thread may be in the 5th gen section, but the advice holds true for 4th gens.

Read it instead of instantly doubting it.
