just installed hid`s

i just installed the hanabi hid kit, got it from freddie, 97gles it was pretty easy to install no big deal, especially since freddie took the time out to explain how to install it step by step, he`s a really cool guy, these lights look bright!! and nice. i just have to reaim the headlights tomm. but anyone thinking about getting some hid`s i would highly recomend 97gles, he`s a pleasure to do business with.

I just got mine, they are sweet dude! The full set includes side markers, cornering lamps, fogs and headlamps. I would get the full set otherwise your headlamps look really out of place.

Full set? I had no idea that the Hanabi HID kit was offered as a full set. So your saying it includes bulbs for ALL locations up front? This sounds great, but I never heard that before. Do they all match the headlights?

Hey Nigel,
We will have to get out on the weekend some time after you get your turbo and take some street victories. I have a Digi8 camera, so we can get some good footy. I always see ricer meets on Olive and College Ave. or College and Garts Bros., so it wouldn't be hard finding some game.

Maxtout,

Ive seen those ricer conventions, I just laugh! I think its funny how they sit there next to garts and think their cars are all great. Thats pretty much the main place to see them. Let me know when you guys do this, I wanna see them guys get burned!

PS, I live over in Windsor so I know Ft Collins VERY VERY well!

Hehe! Mine are actually not Hanabi HIDs...but I am quite happy with them! They don't look so sleepy now. I will get Hanabis later....right now I have bigger fish to spend money on like ........ PPPPPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHTTTTT!

I haven't seen the ricers .... I haven't been paying much attention to other cars .... I only look at Maximas ! Hehe!

Sure I'd be up for meeting up after the turbo is installed! My car looks kind of ordinary right now other than the clear tails and corners. I'll work on that later!

Ciao!

Get them!! You won't be disappointed. Pictures really won't do them justice. You have to see them for yourself. I got mine through the group deal along with my friend (90' Acura Legend) They look great on both cars. They are comparable to the light on the newer Acura CL's only better. I put mine next to a CL600 Mercedes and they looked identical.

I want pics to see what the Full kit looks like. Matching corners, turns and fogs. How much does this kit go for again? $350?

what`s all this talk about full kits? any hid kit is just for the headlights. unless you guys are talking about just changing the bulbs in all the lights to make them look like hid`s.

Yeah. Just change the cornering lamps to match the HIDs otherwise it looks lame....It is possible to get HID kits that match up the fogs, headlamps and corners ... just not Hanabis.

Is there really a point to having HID fogs if you got HID heads? Don't you think thats enough light?

It is impossible to match the headlights with the cornering lights, fogs and sidemarkers. If the headlights are true HIDs then you will never find bulbs to match them. The best you can do is get good hyperwhite bulbs so the clearance lights, fogs and sidemarkers look good and not yellowish like stock. HIDs are a beautiful thing!! Too bad they can't be immitated well...

Guess I did not express myself correctly....that is exactly what I meant. HIDs make stock lamps look really yellow and very dim.

if you have hid`s in the headlights and fogs, it is a lot of light, but someone in my neighborhood had them and boy do they look sweet.
