clunk noise when accelerating

I have a clunk noise when i accelerate my 98 maxima with 188k miles. I replaced the transmission mount driver side (left) and motor mount passenger side (right) they were both in really bad shape. I sill have the noise. Therefore i am planning on replacing the remaining two mounts front (by radiator) and rear (by firewall).

What else should I check for this noise?

Thanks in advance!

Nothing. Just replace those mounts! Then no more clunk

might also want to look at strut bearings and strut mounts as well.

I too have a clunk noise when accelerating. I have a 5spd and it doesnt happen all the time. Mayhbe in 1st or switching to 2nd.

I have replaced all motor mounts and lower rad support which was rusted. Did not get rid of the clunking noise.

Back when I did my struts I swapped in some autozone strut mounts and I think they are crappy and making the noise. That was 3 yrs ago. I have learned to just live with it.
