seat belt "tongue ' will not go in the buckle

seat belt "tongue ' will not go in the buckle
99 max 147,000 miles.
Today the drivers metal tang/tongue piece that is on the seat belt would not go into the buckle piece thats between the seat and the console.

I searched but no tips

any ideas?

Probably got a coin or something in there, get a vacuum hose on it and clean it out while intermittently pushing release button.

bingo
after much tugging and pushing and using a flashlight at nite I found a small piece of metal 1/8 x 1/2 with a dolphin on it , think its off sombodys clothes (an emblem) .
