I know on a street its a car against a car, but think about it, HP/cyl--Honda has destroyed the rest of asian market(import to the US). I know that everyone is going to flame about the EVOVII/GTR34 and all that crap but those aren't N/A engines.

Nissan has VVL as their type of VTEC, but only on their cars not imported here. The Sylvia has the SR20DET, but thats not a VVL motor, neither is the normal SR20DE. The SR20VE does have VVL but im not sure about the output, i know it has a pretty high HP/Liter.
Peace
Actually Toyota made a pretty bad assed 2.0 dohc 4 valve jdm engine that would fit into the 18R and 20R Celicas. That damn engine came stock w/ like 36-40mm dual Solex sidedraft carbs! Thing would rev forever. early-late 80's vintage engines

Honda/Acura owns the market. Just think of anything, you can do it with a honda/acura, sorry Nissan seems to not notice what is going on in the states. I would rather build a honda then a nissan or any other import, seen nissans not impressed. Always owned a honda and until nissan starts designing better cars, then maybe i will test drive one. dollar for dollar i can build my honda mill for less and get more, that may change but not for awhile.
And talking about racing, it is stupid to race anywere but a dragstrip, you are putting helpless people at risk for what?! Get a timeslip, then show the ricers that. i live in a rice state, so believe when i say this, that racing them proves nothing as they just want to race more. How do you think parts cars happen?
The new maxima and altima will have alot better support.
Not to mention NISMO too.

P.S. I definitely agree with the no street racing, its definitely not worth it, take it to the tracks, if u win u win if u lose u lose no excuses, not to mention keeping the public safe from people excessively speeding.

'97 Prelude SH, 0-60 in 6.7 sec.
pre-95 Preludes were made without OBD-II codes so they respond VERY well to bolt-ons compared to later cars. Also, 87-88 had a mechanical 4-wheel steering system available and 94-95 (maybe to '96) had a hydraulic system available.
VTEC usually doesn't activate 'til 5 or 6K RPM, you can't launch at that speed so they're not great off the line, but they can stay in each gear a lot longer, which makes up for most of their lackluster torque. That's the advantage of Honda's, they maintain their torque multipliers longer than most other cars. On the freeway, they're already in their powerband, so yes it's much closer there. Just take 'em off the line and hope your torque curve can outpower their excessive powerband.
