Cruising on the turnpike at 75mph and a darn piece of rock coming from nowhere smashed my grill and almost pinched my radiator.
The local dealer asked $190 to replace the grill.

Anyone know where's the best place to get a oem grill with a better price.

thanz!

ps. Anyone know how much is the stillen grill going for?

Steve Cutchen has an excellent MaxFAQs page:
http://web2.airmail.net/scutchen/max_faq/

It cites two Nissan dealers who sell factory parts at a discount.

Brown and Brown Nissan, Tempe AZ.
Parts department: 800.237.0003
http://www.brownandbrowntempe.com/parts_form.cgi

Courtesy Nissan, Richardson, TX.
Parts department: 800.527.1909
http://www.courtesyparts.com/

When you contact them be sure to mention you got their name from the Nissan
newsgroup.

Removing and installing the stock grill is easily done. You can save by doing it yourself. No special tools are required.

Removal.
Raise the hood. Identify the two plastic clips in the upper corners holding
the grille in place. Notice that each has a slot. Insert a small flat-blade screwdriver into the slot and turn CCW 1/8 turn to release the clip. Gently tug the grille upward and outward. Elapsed time, about 30 seconds.

Installation.
The two plastic clips stayed in the car. Remove them by hand. Use a small pair of pliers to squeeze the legs together. Insert the square head of the clip into the hole in the grille, working from the back of the grille. Turn 1/8 turn to click into place. Place the grille into the vehicle body, taking care to line up the locating pins near the lower edge of the grille. Gently push the plastic clips into their respective holes. Snap! and the job is one. Elapsed time, about 60 seconds.

This is a dumb reply, but man that must have been a huge rock that hit your grille.

And to think I get pissed off when a small pebble dings my windshield.

Good luck man. Don't pay the dealer to replace the grille. Buy the part and do it yourself. Also, you might want to get your radiator pressure tested to make sure that the rock didn't dent your radiator enough to clog it somewhere.
