What fuse would cause my car not to start? (95 nissan maxima se)

Hi, I have a 95 Nissan Maxima SE and my car won't start I have a brand new battery, when I turn the key my lights and stuff come on... the car starter does NOT make a clicking noise when I turn the key... I took out my ignition switch check that... so I'm guessing is a blown fuse? but what fuse would cause my car not to start? I need the name, location and how much it would cost? and any additional help is welcome too.

Just by looking at the ignition switch won't help you in any way, but there is a fuse in the engine compartment for you to check, it's located inside the drivers side fuse box, green color relay, I believe it says ignition switch or something like that check and report back, also to let you know 95-99 maximas do have a tsb on the ignition switches going bad,

Okay, Thanks so it could still be possibly the ignition switch? because I replaced it last year so maybe it burnt out again? and how would I know if that fuse is blown?

Is the car a manual transmission or automatic. The starting circuits are different.

The most likely causes of no start are: starter, ignition switch, clutch pedal interlock switch (manual trans), park/neutral safety switch. Fuses are wayyy down the list.

^agree.

Hit your starter with a long pipe a few times and see if tries to crank over. If so, that's a tell tale sign your starter is toast.

The fuse in the engine bay is actually a fusible link. If it blows you won't have any power at all, or when you turn the key. Since you do I would suspect the ignition switch or the lockout mechanism. (if your car is an automatic) Turn your key to the ACC position and move your gear selector thru all the gears, then put it in park and try starting it then.
