help please, Maxima won't always start

My 1997 Nissan maxima wouldn't start at nigth time it would take at least 20 before it did but it would start no problem during day time. Last night it didn't start at all and today it still wont start.
Have you guys had the same problem? If you did what was the problem?...

I take it your battery is holding up and turning the engine over sufficiently for starting?

You need to verify fuel and fire. An area to theck is the ignition switch.

Here is a video on how to test/replace the ignition switch.

Is it cranking and not turning over? This could be the rear crank sensor or improper grounding of the transmission housing requring an extra ground from the negative battery terminal to the transmission case or replacement of the cranks sensor. Could be a weak fuel pump.

Or is it not cranking at all? Could be a bad inhibitor relay or bad starter.
