Suspension woes. Advice please.

Last winter my poor beloved Maxima hit a patch of black ice at 20 mph and slid straight towards a wall. Luckily I was able to pull the ebrake and get it to hit the wall sideways instead of straight on but I had no time to straighten the wheel before I hit it. After that I had gotten another Maxima that was not slammed to the ground and could drive through snow. Now that the weather is nice again I'm back to the low life. Anyways, the problem is that the wheel that hit the wall has a ridiculous amount of horizontal play. No vertical. It sounds almost as if something is very lose. It knocks around and I can sometimes hear my coil spring knocking around which never happened to me on this car. I checked tie rods, control arm and strut bushings. Everything looks fine. All bolts and nuts are tight. I'm kind of at a stalemate on what to do next so I figured I would come here for suggestions. Any info or advice on what else to look for, what to do, or anything for that matter is welcomed! Thanks!

Checked the hub. No play there. Control arm looks solid but hard to tell. What could I look for?
