replacement harmonic balancer
replacement harmonic balancer
Ok so i recently replaced my harmonic balancer, was getting the notorious wobble. After putting the new pulley on i still got a wobble.... My question is this has anyone bought a hb that was no good? What else could cause the the wobble if i find out the pulley is true?
I bought it from discount body parts.

Check out rockauto next time.
I'm sure that you liked the price of the one you found, but the very cheap ones usually fail fairly quickly.
Best you can do other than upgrade the part is make sure it's not separating already at the rubber and check your other pulleys to make sure they are tight and spin freely.
I purchased one of the cheap ones too and returned it after seeing it.
Think the site was AM auto parts iirc.
Dorman is a good OEM replacement.
Seems like the decent ones are around $100.
