Pipe under throttle body without a hose

Pipe under throttle body without a hose
Hi - when I went to replace the starter I spotted a pipe under the throttle body without a hose. I've attached an image.
Anybody have an idea where this pipe should go? I don't see an obvious end point. I've had a number of shops work on my 1995 Maxima over the years so it could have been disconnected for a while
