Remember, there are no stupid questions ... just stupid people
I've been there before, I'm still 4x4 too but hopefully not much longer. If you lower your car, you will kill your stock struts alot quicker. So eventually, you'll have to get them in, might as well do it all at once and save you time, money, etc.
Also, AGX (and Konis) are adjustable, so if adjusted properly, you'll like it more and it'll handle better.
Most on the .org feel AGX are better than Konis, cheaper too. Warranty on a Koni is lifetime though, AGX have a 1 year warranty, I think.

thanks for the info pocketrocket...now i think i understand it a little better...now i just have to come up with the money...don't think my dad would agree to pay for the lowering...but we'll see...and around what drop would still be suitable to nice handling...i live in tennessee and when it rains, it rains alot sometimes..and i'm looking to getting some 17x7 rims so i want my car to look real nice, and i think the lowering would make it look nice by the looks of some of these pictures i've seen, but i want it to still be a comfortable ride, so you think around 1.5-1.6 lowering is still comfy?..thanks again

hey!!! I'm getting my 17x7's this spring.
2002 Altima 17x7s, 6-spoke, 45mm offset on 215/45R17 summer tires. Rims weigh 10.273 kgs each ... heheheh! I'll be going 4x4 for some time then ...
Hopefully, B&G's / AGX combo next summer.

How many miles do you have on your car? My wife has 59,000 on her car and I just installed intrax on her car and it looks good , and it still rides 85% close to stock, and I am not going to change her shocks yet it will be, a couple of more months. Bottom line it depends what condition are your shocks in, and also are you going to change them yourself? If you are then buy springs now get your struts later if your doing your own labor if not just buy both at the same time and save you some money,
Pocket rocket is like this if snows where you live my advice to you get the Ground controls therefor you can raise your car back up if it gets pretty bad, and then for summer drop it down. But if not get those BG springs.

looks great
It looks like the drop is pretty even, although I'm thinking that the front is just a bit lower
Your interior is awesome, I need to turn my nasty tan into that. We have similar cars. I have a GXE with a sunroof and tan interior, just superblack.

I've got a beater 91 Escort pony, so my winters aren't too bad.
Also, my 17" tires are going to be summer tires (don't ask why!!!) so I'll swap with my stock 15" all seasons for winter.

I'll tell you the cost when I get them, should be around Spring.
Here's a hint: I work as a design engineer @ Nissan

i've had eibach springs on my car for about two years now. i just installed agx's on saturday. The is a little too harsh for me. i have the settings on 1 and 3. i was just wondering if the ride would get better if i put in h&r's or b&g's. Also wondering if they both have the same ride comfort. I need something that will look good and still ride smooth because i'll be transporting a baby in my car very soon. How is it that the b&g's have a lower drop than h&r's and still maintain the same ride quality.

Oh, and if anyone tells you that it is easy to change your suspension without air tools,........ slap them.
My arms still hurt from all that ratcheting.
A 3 hour job took me more like 8.
Oh, and install B&G springs with the writing upside down.
Great Spring Strut Combo!
