Interesting problem w/ my ypipe breaking o2 sensor...
Ok ive never heard of this happening but i have the wsp y-pipe and recently i have been getting check engine lights. It turns out the ypipe has been rubbing the o2 sensor ona braket and it broke the damn thing! Has this happened to anyone else? I think the solution is an aftermarket o2 sensor that is a little shorter than the stock ones? Are these available? Or any other sugestions?

Looks like the DESIGN may need to relocate the angle of the O2 mount.
Good luck with finding a shorter 4 wire O2 sensor...

I don't know if there's any other permanent solution than the one you suggested... different O2 with shorter body...

limp-mode = no data for ECU

As in: without the information from a missing O2 sensor, the ECU is in "limp-mode," having to make as good a decision as it can about how to adjust the air/fuel mixture without accounting for this missing data in making that decision, millisecond by millisecond.
You will lose power and efficiency if you leave an O2 sensor out, not to mention the already mentioned permanent CEL. You might start to habitually ignore the CEL when it could be pointing toward a separate, more serious problem.
I'd get on the horn w/ the Warpspeed guys & get a little feedback from them - word is, they're very committed to their customers.
Best of luck!
I don't have a WSP pipe, but I remember one of the O2 sensors was really difficult to get in. There was a plate that I had to bend out of the way it is, but I can't remember whether it was the front downpipe or the rear one. You might want to check that.
I had the same problem, the front o2 mounting hole was angle
against the engine mount. I contact Dallas and he send out
another pipe, this one was perfect. Mounted perfectly. My
mechanic said if I had put the 1st pipe in, it will definitely
nbreak the o2 sensor.
